Testing

We perform physical, chemical, and mechanical tests on yarns, fabrics, raw materials, garments, and accessories.

We also perform tests on personal protective equipment (PPE), safety wear, workwear, and Minimum Environmental Criteria (CAM – Criteri Ambientali Minimi) to assess compliance with current standards and regulations.

Consulting

We provide comprehensive consultancy services to companies, offering technical assistance on materials, production systems, and industrial methodologies. We also conduct environmental impact assessments, draft supply contract specifications, and provide technical and legal expert reports.

Training

We deliver training courses for companies and laboratories, and we collaborate with schools of various levels, universities, and vocational training centers for educational activities and research programs.

Research

We are part of the Emilia-Romagna High Technology Network, and we collaborate on research projects funded by regional and European funds. These projects aim to promote innovation in all sectors utilizing textile products.

The execution of our tests involves two phases:

1. Identification of the most suitable method, considering the parameters to be evaluated, the measurement uncertainty level, the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025 standard, and the specific requests of the Client.
2. Interpretation of the results, comparing them with laws, standards and/or the terms specified in the Client’s contract specifications. If necessary, we provide advice and/or training activities aimed at optimizing the Client’s methodologies.

Our structure is streamlined and organized to ensure competent, fast, and comprehensive support, delivering results and reports as quickly as possible – including urgent analysis needs.

Recognizing that every company has specific requirements, in addition to the available standard tests, we are capable of performing customized testing and research activities upon request, offering tailored test packages to enable optimal control of the production process.

We can guarantee services of this level thanks to a team of qualified professionals, supported by state-of-the-art technology, continuous updates on methodologies and current regulations, and a deep understanding of the industrial processes in the textile and clothing sector.

Accredia

Since our foundation, we have been accredited as a Testing Laboratory by the Italian sole accreditation-body Accredia (LAB No. 0263L), in accordance with the ISO/IEC 17025 standard. This accreditation certifies our competence, impartiality, and quality in performing the specified listed tests.

Through the International Mutual Recognition Agreements (MLA/MRA) with EA, IAF, and ILAC, we can conduct internationally-accredited tests as well. Therefore, companies that are headquartered or operate outside of Italy, by turning to us are not required to undergo additional inspections in their respective countries of reference or origin.

CPSC

Since 2022, we have been accredited as a Testing Laboratory by the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (LAB ID 1758) for tests related to the 16 CFR Part 1610 standard (flammability of clothing textiles) of the U.S. Code of Federal Regulations.

Emilia-Romagna High Technology Network

Since 2023, we have been accredited as an Industrial Research Laboratory by the Emilia-Romagna region’s High Technology Network (regional resolution No. 5807 of 17/03/2023).

The Network is an organization established to coordinate the offering of industrial research in the Emilia-Romagna region. It consists of Industrial Research Laboratories and Innovation Centers providing expertise, technologies, solutions, and equipment for the development of businesses through:

• Applied research activities.
• Technical consulting.
• Suitable testing equipment, to support research projects aimed at direct technology transfer to develop or refine materials and production processes.

With this accreditation, we are able to support Clients in the realization of specific projects, assisting them in the study and achievement of objectives set by public calls for proposals.
